The Digby 23 project is online, and transcriptions are underway. Also, we are developing new techniques for handling the manuscript data, which will allow for faster, more accurate rendering and transcribing of the manuscripts online.
With the Digby23 project underway, CP2 has received an upgrade from improvements implemented in the new project, including both looks and smoother functionality.
Check out these exciting new updates to the site!
Thanks to everyone who attended the conference in Portland for their ongoing dedication to the legacy of Karl D. Uitti and their enthusiastic support of the Charrette Project (now Charrette Project 2). The Baylor site is now fully functional. A few notes of interest:
From January 5th to January 8th, the Charrette team Editoral board will meet in Portland, Oregon. Matters of business will include updating the website, discussing future avenues of research, applying for an NEH Collaborative Grant, and the founding of the new humanities computing journal "Digital Philology". Funding for the meeting has been provided thanks to a generous gift from the Florence Gould Foundation (NY). We would also like to thank Portland State University, and Dr. Gina Greco, for hosting the meeting.
